Just Go To The Other Side

Title: Just Go To The Other Side

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today, I want to talk to you about the importance of trusting in God even when we can’t see what lies ahead. Life is filled with uncertainties, challenges, and obstacles that may block our view of the path that God has set before us. It is during these times that our faith is truly tested, and it is during these times that we must remember to trust in God with all our hearts.

In the Bible, there is a story that illustrates this point perfectly. In the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 4, we find the account of Jesus and His disciples crossing the Sea of Galilee. As they sailed, a great storm arose, and the waves beat against the boat. The disciples were filled with fear and panic, believing that they would perish in the storm. But amidst the chaos, Jesus was asleep in the stern of the boat.

When the disciples woke Jesus and cried out to Him in fear, He simply rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” Immediately, the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Jesus then turned to His disciples and asked them, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

This story reminds us that even when we can’t see what lies ahead, we must trust in God’s power and goodness. Just as Jesus calmed the storm for His disciples, He will also calm the storms in our lives if we have faith in Him. We must remember that God is always with us, guiding us and protecting us through every trial and tribulation.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This verse reminds us that we should not rely on our own limited understanding but instead trust in God’s wisdom and guidance. Even when we can’t see what’s ahead, we can rest assured that God is leading us to the other side.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, when you face uncertainties, challenges, and obstacles that block your view of the path ahead, remember to trust in God with unwavering faith. Just go to the other side, knowing that God is with you every step of the way. Let go of fear and doubt, and embrace the peace that comes from trusting in the Lord.

May God bless you and keep you always.

Amen.
