Missing a loveone
During this holiday season, it’s understandable that missing a loved one who has passed away can make this time especially challenging. Please know that you are not alone, and your feelings are valid. It’s okay to grieve, and it’s important to take care of yourself during this time.
In times of difficulty, it can be helpful to find comfort in scripture. In the book of Psalms, it is written: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18. This verse reminds us that even in our deepest pain, we are not alone, and there is hope for healing.
Another comforting passage comes from the book of Matthew: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28. These words from Jesus offer solace and the promise of finding peace in Him during times of sorrow and heaviness.
Remember that it’s okay to seek support from friends, family, or a support group. Sharing your feelings and memories of your loved one can be a source of comfort and healing. And as you navigate this difficult season, may you find moments of peace and hope, knowing that your loved one’s memory lives on in your heart.
I hope these words and scriptures bring you some comfort during this challenging time.
