Parenting

Parenting encompasses far more than fulfilling basic physical needs such as providing food, clothing, and shelter. Without the essential emotional support from parents, there is a significant likelihood that they will contribute to the emergence of another individual who disobeys societal norms. It is crucial for a child to feel unconditionally loved regardless of the circumstances. Even during moments when parental patience wears thin, it is acceptable to communicate that sentiment to the child. However, above all else, love must always prevail. Life presents ample challenges to our younger generation, but navigating a tumultuous love-hate relationship with a parent should not be one of them. Our children have the capacity to inflict emotional harm upon us more than any external adversary. While we are not obligated to tolerate their misbehavior or allow them to take advantage of us, we must continue to love them despite their flaws. Anything less than this devotion cannot be considered true parenting.
