Temptation

James 1:13. In the King James Version (KJV), it says:

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.”

Explanation:
God does not tempt anyone to do evil.**
Temptation often involves testing or trial, but it’s distinct from God’s way of testing or refining.
This verse emphasizes that God is pure and cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He entice people to sin.

Additional related scriptures:
1 Corinthians 10:13**:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
This shows that God provides a way out of temptation and does not tempt beyond our ability.

Summary:
James 1:13 clearly states that God does not tempt any man to sin, reinforcing the idea that temptation comes from our own desires and the devil, but not from God. Instead, God is faithful and provides support and a way to escape temptation.
